Katie VanderWielen is a mechanic based in Appleton, Wisconsin. Katie grew up working on engines from a young age but it wasn’t till after working in construction and car dealerships that she finally went into working as a mechanic full time. She is now the general manager at Jumpstart Auto Repair, a female focussed car garage that offers free services to domestic violence survivors.
